ABOUT US
Crop Consultants Queensland Inc was formed in 1998 under the name Crop Management Consultants Association, to enable crop consultants to keep up with developments and issues related to crop management as well as making representations to industry.
It has also served as an opportunity for members to socialise and network with fellow consultants.
Objectives of the association:
- To promote IPM and sustainable agricultural practices.
- To facilitate communication between association members, the agricultural industry, various government departments in agriculture and other sources of agricultural technology.
- To promote the ideal of independence of its members from any bias towards the recommendations of suppliers of agricultural chemicals, fertilizers, seeds, pest management control agents, machinery and technology.
- To promote the professional status of its members by the setting standards of qualifications and field experience, and to establish a code of ethics.
- To develop and promote the association as an industry lobby group which will provide a vehicle for its members to represent their interests and ideas to industry. The association will act as a united voice for horticultural consultants to industry. The association aims to act in the best interests of its members.
